Where to Start?

Mount Rinjani volcano can be accessed from East Lombok, South Lombok, and North Lombok, featuring six officially designated trekking entrances. These routes offer diverse trekking elevations, summit heights, and trail experiences, providing a range of options to suit your interests.

  • The Sembalun Entrance in East Lombok is the closest route to the main peak of Mount Rinjani.
  • The Senaru Entrance in North Lombok is the most convenient path to reach the renowned crater.
  • The Torean Entrance, also in North Lombok, offers the quickest route to Segara Anak Lake.

These three pathways are interconnected, allowing you to start your ascent from any one of them and conclude at another.
